At my core, I am passionate. I am so passionate that I sometimes find it hard to pick one, or even a few, interests or values to dedicate my heart to.

As a 23-year-old college graduate on the precipice of freedom, everyone loves to ask what I see for my future. I always give complicated answers that can lead to some awkward pauses, but if I reduce my chaotic dreams to their simplest forms, I have three visions. One, I want to be a writer. Two, I want to connect with people. And three, I want to see the world.

Because wildly passionate people have trouble doing anything halfway, I am soon leaving my home to backpack through Australia alone. I plan to write, meet new people, and explore places I’ve yet to know exist.

I believe that, along the way, I will start to find a synergy between my three visions. This blog will be my way of documenting my experience. Do not be mistaken, I am definitely terrified to move to a new country… alone… without a job or place to stay… I know it will be hard, but I also know it is beautifully necessary.
